STEPS FOR VENDOR REGISTRATION

1.Interested Vendors are required to send their application through Vendor Registration Form(VRF). VRFs received from the vendors are scrutinized and segregated division-wise.

2.Vendors are evaluated by a committee in CEL based on the competence, capability, available infrastructure, quality assurance system, current business profile and financial status of the interested vendors. It is therefore important to submit all the required documents with VRF. If desired by the committee, its members may visit the manufacturing facility of the vendors for assessment of infrastructure, quality assurance measures and other aspects.

3.After capability approval by the committee, vendors may be requested to submit samples along with an Internal test report / factory test report . Samples submitted by the vendors are evaluated by Divisional  Quality control, who may waive off some of the tests if the type test report from reputed test houses such as LCSO, CACT or any other international test laboratory of the same item is submitted by the vendor. 

4.After successful evaluation of vendor capability as well as the sample approval by the Divisional Quality  Control, registration of vendors is recommended  by the committee and after due approval, vendors are registered.
